AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDERS ARE ON THE RISE!
For many years autism was rare - occurring in just five children per 10,000 live births. However, since the early 1990's, the rate of autism has increased enormously around the world with figures as high as 60 per 10,000. Boys outnumber girls four to one. In 2007, the Centers for Disease Control reported that 1 in 150 children are diagnosed with autism. Now the statistic says 1 in 130 children. It is estimated that autism is increasing at the rate of 10 to 17 percent each year - faster than any disability or disease.
OUR COURSE OF ACTION is to: remove what is causing harm, add what is missing and help the body to heal naturally. Affected children often have an exaggerated response to toxins, foods, and airborne allergens. It is well recognized that they are often deficient in various nutrients, enzymes, anti-oxidants, and essential fatty acids, and that they require methylation(the ability to detoxify) support. In our practice we see almost 80% of non-autistic population of children/adults with the typical symptoms as well, for example, GI complaints and sleeping issues, but less evasive on their bodies. It is supported with the same idea of healing the body and supporting the ability to detoxify in a non-aggressive way. I support the body’s organs of excretion through Homotoxicology, which supports the healing and detoxification process. As well we discuss nutritional therapy, and then when the healing process is in progress we can support with some supplementation therapy.
ABOUT THE VISIT:
1. We would first like to see the parent/parents for the first visit. You will need to bring your questionnaire and it will take around two hours. During the visit we will have 2 hrs to answer questions go over your concerns and explain in further detail how the Healing Program will fit to your child, every program is unique for each individual.
2. We will then like to see the child in a separate visit which can be within the next few days after the visit with the parents. We will then analyze and put together the best healing program that fits with your child’s findings.
The good news is that there are now a wide variety of suggestion options, which can be very helpful. This is the procedure, how Kick Start works and how I have had a huge success with my patients.
